Anchor Down, RV resort, Dandridge, TN

Got in last night. Very nice, very new RV resort with great views of Douglas lake and access. Full hook ups and level pads. All sizes fit from Big A's to little B's and some sites have really nice outdoor fireplaces. Short drive to Sevierville without the chaos of being in Sevierville.

Beautiful site! We were considering this campground for August because it looks so beautiful. We were worried though about how long it would take to drive to attractions.

We have 3 young kids and we plan to visit Dollywood, the water park, Smokey Mountain Park and do touristy things like go carts, whitewater rafting and zip lines. I have heard the traffic there is a nightmare so when I saw distances of 18-20 miles to those attractions, I got a bit nervous that we would spend the whole week in traffic and booked River Plantation instead.

If you visit or pass any of the attractions I mentioned,could you give me an idea of the travel time from this park to there? Seeing your picture is making me second guess / regret my campground choice....
