Any rv spots left in Florida for month of Jan

Well I didn't plan to stay in FL this winter but we are down here and might stay. We are in Tampa area now staying at Lazydays looking around for a place to stay for Jan and Feb. I did a search here, also looking in the books. We like nicer parks with a nice pool and a few things to do. Bike club is a big plus. Anywhere in central FL is ok. Stayed in Texas 4 winters AZ last 2, planned to go back to AZ but might give it a try here for winter. You can private message me with your secret great spot

what next:

Try Bay Bayou located in Oldsmar at the VERY northern tip of Tampa Bay between Tampa and Clearwater. Great location, bike trails routes in the area will blow ya away, great pool, nice club house, easy drive to gulf beaches, Fort DeSoto, Treasure Island over in Madiera (St. Pete), Tarpon Springs (great Greek food), you name it.

Thanks for PMs and ideas. Chickadee, Bay Bayou is on my list to visit today sounds nice. Parents use to stay in a small place near Tarpon Springs so I kinda know the area.

It's going to be too cold in Jan. in FL to use the pool....unless it's indoor.

Texas, lot less traffic, less expensive,no need for reservations not much to see after the first year. Looked at 6 parks today, think we will head for AZ after Christmas.

Try Camp Venice Resort or Rambler's Rest on the Myakka River, east of Venice. Beautiful area. Both have heated pools and many things to do nearby.

Try Florida Gateway Rv resort in Jasper on rte 75 if that area is on your radar, great sites very inexpensive in a new resort.
