We are currently at Oasis. Plenty of room for your rig in the pull-thru section. Great resort! Great staff and very good amenities. You won't be disappointed.

Did you see the larger fenced dog area outside the front entrance to the park?
They have 2 pools, one for families and one for adults.

We stayed there in May of 2013.

You might try the Clark County Shooting Complex & 1st Class "Bare Bones" RV Park on the north end of town with easy freeway acess from I-15 and Hwy.95 via the 215 Beltway. 9 freeway miles to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. While it's not a destination park, it has 80 full hookups (30&50amp) 120'X25' pull throughs, club house with WiFi, gated (you get the code) and killer mountain sunsets and sunrises and each site has breathtaking aerial views of the Las Vegas night lights!
ONLY $20 per night!

(It used to be that you had to be actively involved in shooting to stay there - that restriction has been lifted) See the write-up in our Campground reviews

We just stayed at the Thousand Trails Las Vegas. Not fancy but clean and secure. We are TT member.

Oasis is very nice just south of the strip. Have stayed there previously.

Have spent a few nights at Oasis, Very nice resort,, I think there is an "Outdoor, somethin" (not sure what) it is an Encore park, that is supposed to be nice as well.

For low cost and no more than 14 nights, Main St Casino, if they still have an RV park, Not the best part of town, Noisy (Leave A/C on high to mask much of the noise). but traffic noise does not bother me,, And the lot is within walking distance of Freemont St. (a bit more than a block from the corner of Main and Freemont, behind the Califorian, Which is owned by Main St, they are both considered "Freemont St Casinos"

Freemont is"old Las Vegas" and you can still go to a show in a small lounge type setting (perhaps 100 seating capacity) and often for free. Not so the big places.

Oh, Oasis is, I think a Harrah's property and operates a shuttle bus direct from the RV park to many of the Casinos on the strip.
Home is where I park it!

Beautiful park pavement Concrete grass trees shade no blowing dust, Easy location easy in and out. Wonderful people to deal with, had to stay a few extras days as we had a medical emergency and they were so helpful.

The only thing is it is Class A only park
I've stayed here. Great park. Sometimes they run specials. While I was there they had a 50% off deal for active or retired military personnel.

I'm headed there in Apr and have been doing a little research. Las Vegas Motor Coach look like the best, starting at $70 a night. (They offer 50% discount to all active and retired military, 20% to all veterans.) Oasis also look great, but around $59 a night.

I'm considering Las Vegas RV Resort who is currently offering a $29 an night special, using google earth, the place looks ok. I would like some one who familiar with the park to chime in.

Keep in mind, Las Vegas has a 12% or 13% tax.

I stayed at the LV RV Resort last March for 4 or 5 days. It's a good place to stay, secure, small but nice pool and spa, good laundry, probably the best restrooms/showers you going to find. The roads were a little narrow but we managed with our 36' class A as did other larger RV's. There are several pet areas in the park which are cleaned daily. Good thing because the management does not want dogs to relieve themselves anywhere but in the pet areas. This includes the RV site you have rented. Since there is so little rain in LV they say it gets smelly if this rule is not followed. The park itself is quiet but it's a little noisy from traffic and sirens in the surrounding area. That is unavoidable anywhere in LV. For $29 a day you really can't go wrong.
