I have stayed at Oasis.. They have 3 kinds of sites.
Pull through
Back in
Nose to tail (Two rigs in line like this Rig 1-Rig 2.
When I was there it was a very nice park but also one of the more expensive parks in town.
Circus Circus KOA.. also expensive I think all back in sites
Main Street Casino used to have an RV lot, Do not know if they still do, Way lower cost some are pull through (Ask for the hotel when you call) I will tell you about this park
First, 2 week limit on stay
Second, It is behind the Califorian (Which is a "Main St Casino property and on the corner of Main and Freemont, as is Main St Casion (other side of Main)
This puts it (2 blocks) walking distance from Freemont Experience.
Not the best neighborhood. When I was there if I walked back to my RV after dark, SECURITY escorted me, Nice security folks.
Next door (Over a stone/brick wall) is Fire, EMS and the centeral bus terminal (noisy) and though they have cut it down a bit it used to extend UNDER a freeway off ramp (Again noisy) of course the AC fan on HIGH covers a lot of that noise but not all.. I lived where traffic noise was an issue anyway so it did not bother me a bit.
IF, (And I stress IF) I ever go to Vegas again and spend more than 2 weeks.. I'll stay there.

We stay at Sam's Town. Away from the strip so a little less traffic. They have funny sewer connections so it can be a little stinky at times.

We stayed in the Las Vegas Motor Coach Resort.
Beautiful park pavement Concrete grass trees shade no blowing dust, Easy location easy in and out. Wonderful people to deal with, had to stay a few extras days as we had a medical emergency and they were so helpful.
The only thing is it is Class A only park

Sans Town is a nice park but I had forgot about the sewer connection box. It's different but I never smelled a thing but I wasn't there in the Summer either !

I usually check with Reviews of RV Parks and Campgrounds - RV Park Reviews to see what folks have to say. But you have gotten a really good response from this community.
The last time we were in LV we drove off the strip to a 7-11 for an Icee & a bag of ice, not even a block off the strip.
At 1 in the afternoon there were 2 guys working the parking lot, one on lookout at the curb & the other trying to see inside the cars as tourists sorted stuff to get to the ice chest.
In the 7-11 one guy inside was at the window watching the parking lot activity closely & the other was manning the counter.
I'd be thinking twice of anything off the main drag.

Las Vegas is like most other larger cities. They have their good sections of town and their bad. You can usually tell which sections to stay away from by looking at the boarded up stores and houses.
We usually stay at the Oasis when we go out to visit our Son and his family and we haven't had any problems. The park is fully fenced and they have guards patroling the park and at the entrance. They also have discounts for various clubs.

Exactly, I live in Las Vegas. Like most large cities, we have good neighborhoods and bad. It's up to those that visit to do their homework before they come like we do when we travel.

We tried Circus Circus.
Just a parking lot on a noisy street and not cheap.
Will not return.

We stayed at the Oasis last March and it was fine. As stated previously, nice clean bathrooms/showers, small pool and hot tub, laundry was good. Small fenced dog areas, friendly long term neighbors. We talked about giving Sam's Town a try the next time we were in LV.
