Anybody been to Fiesta Key lately?

The Fiesta Key website says they are undergoing renovations. We were there a few years ago for a night and even during off season it was tight. Just wondering if they are actually improving the place. Anybody been there lately with actual knowledge?

Thanks. That's what I thought. They always seem to be working on the place but when I go by it always looks the same.

Fiesta Key is owned by the same company that owns Sunshine Key Resort and Marina. (on the west end of 7 mile bridge) We'll be heading down there the end of next week. I tried to work a deal with them to stay at Fiesta Key for a week, then go to Sunshine Key for three weeks and still get a "monthly rate". No such luck. Anyone got any comments on Sunshine Key?

We were there two years ago in Feb/March for 3 weeks And enjoyed it. It was the winter group of snowbirds there.
