Anybody here taken their class A to Jalama Beach County Park

I've heard good things about staying in this park on the ocean. I am just wondering if anyone has camped there in a 40' or longer pusher. I hear it's a long 14 mile windy trek out there. -Bill

A couple of years ago we checked it out. At that time you could not make reservations so you had to drive in. Got more than half way there and then hit the sign that said the campground was full. There wasn't anywhere you could turn a rig around so you would have to finish the drive to the campground. Luckily we were in the Jeep and not the coach.

It looks like a neat place to go with some really neat campsites. If they now accept reservations, I'd think about going. Be prepared for some wind blown salt water on the rig.
