Anyone at Ocean Waves CG on OBX this week?
If so, how's the weather? We'll be there later this week for a few days and looking forward to it. Haven't been to OBX in nearly 2 years now so it will be nice to get back even if its raining. Seems like they have their own weather system out there!

Chuck.... some local knowledge, if you would? I'm thinking of wintering right next door there-- workamping at one of the other campgrounds. What would be your opinion of a winter on the island? On paper the weather averages are very similar to Raleigh (where I used to live), but I'm also thinking of the wind. Lots of wind? Will my coach get sandblasted?
Any knowledge you have, I'd appreciate. Thanks!

Sorry but I can't be much help on that info. We live near Charlotte and are only occasional visitors to the OBX. I do like visiting Hatteras National Seashore, but it's a long way from home. Hopefully someone that has more local knowledge on a first hand basis will chime in.
We got here today after driving all day in the rain..to be greeted by a full double rainbow over the ocean!
