Anyone Been To Manatee Hamock CG , Near the Cape

Considering taking the camper to the Cape, we know about Jetty Park, but also like the looks of Manatee Hamock.

Have stayed there the last two winters for a few weeks each time. Did get to see a few rockets go up.
They just updated the meeting room. Pool gets filled up very quickly on hot days. Weekends during the winter have a lot of families show up.
Wifi is fair, but gets over loaded and boots you out.

How long are you planning to stay? Is this a Spacecenter only type trip or did you want to see other things in the area? Just asking because we're local and spend a lot of to,e going to state and private parks in the general Orlando Space Center area.

It's a nice quiet clean park on the Indian River; it is NOT on any beach.
Manatee Hammock is just south of SR 405 / NASA Causeway over to KSC, and has a pool, laundry, working wifi etc. There's a Publix supermarket a little ways south of the power plant.
Be sure to visit the Valiant Air Command museum at Tico airport.
