Anyone here go to the Knoxville Nationals?

I was wondering if anyone here goes to the Knoxville Nationals? I'm looking for a new place to camp, and was hoping either someone on here goes to the Nationals or someone from the Knoxville, Iowa area could help me out.

If you contact the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce, they will help you with camping there. We did that a few years back and they put us in touch with a very nice couple who rented their cabin to us for 3 years in a row. We then got a Class C and camped at the fairgrounds. There are 2 campgrounds just north of the track and I'm sure you could get a spot there. There are a lot of locals who would rent you a space, too. We've gone for the last 16 years, but will not be going this summer. The Knoxville Raceway website may be of help, too....good luck.

Thanks, yeah I've been going to Knoxville for about twenty years. Don't care for the farigrounds during the Nationals, a little too much chaos for me. I like to party a little, but with kids now we are looking for something a little more laid back. We had been staying on a farm about a mile from the track, but they aren't gonna host anyone anymore so looking for a new spot.
