I have seen camping spots listed on AirBNB in the Rocky Mountain states, some are just tent camping sites, others RV boondocking sites. Boondockers welcome is good, but has limited number of hosts since it requires people to provide free rv parking. I signed up to host with them about 6 months ago, have had 1 guest for 3 nights, 2 other inquires, both for the same weekend, then the one that was the first inquiry was a no show, just had the 3rd inquiry to stay for a night this week, but had to say no since they would be arriving the day we are leaving for an extended RV trip. I will possibly be trying the flip side of this as guest on my upcoming trip next week for a transit night in eastern Colorado.
