What are you looking for ? FHU,30 or 50 amp, activities, etc.
Just to get you looking - E.G Simmons is a county park on Tampa bay about 4 miles from Apollo Beach , most sites are waterfront ( canals) , sand sites with grass, 30 amp, dump station, about $20/night. Tampa South RV is about 6 miles away , on the Little Manatee River, paved roads/sites ,FHU,50 amp, pool, well maintained, a bit tight/crowded in season , about $50/night. Hide-a-way RV in Ruskin - 55+ park, also on the Little Manatee River,FHU,30/50 amp, paved roads, gravel sites, pool. Probably 8-10 miles from Apollo Beach abour $40/night. Theee are also some others like River Oaks RV, also in Ruskin on the Little Manatee River, Little Manatee River State Park is probably about 15 miles away, 50 amp sites with a dumpstation at the entrance .

Keep in mind that you will probably need to dump at about 5-7 days (if you don't have sewer hookup) even if you use public bathhouse and wash dishes outside. Also be aware that some State Parks that use the term "full hookup" mean water and electric ... you need to ask specifically about sewer for the site you choose.

Finding space in Florida during snowbird season, in our experience, can really be a bear. Make reservations pronto would be my suggestion, even at state parks.

We are staying at Rice Creek in Riverview, about 10 - 12 miles from Apollo Beach. Dog friendly 50 plus community. There is a nice dog park in Apollo Beach also.
