There are a few places in Quartzsite where you can camp and sell your products. Tyson Wells, Desert Gardens, Rice Ranch to name a few. You would have to get a vendors permit from the town. Check out the Quartzsite Improvement assoc. and the chamber of commerce. Don't have the website links handy. January to the most important month to sell!
We arrive on Nov 1, its still "quiet" then and into December. The large vendors)wholesalers) are usually opening Jan 1. if not a little before.
You need to do your research for a place to stay. Lots of rv parks, very small to quite large. Lots of folks from Michigan. You can even dry camp on BLM ground. I think the cost for that is about 180.00 for the 6 months. Parks run in price from about 300-450.
Elec is extra.
If any specific questions, just ask, we have been going to Q for 8 years. We buy rocks, crystals etc to bring home to Canada to resell at rock and gem shows. We belong to the local metal detectors club and do some sightseeing around the area. Hubby gold prospects for fun and I make wire wrapped jewelry.
We are having a great time and really enjoy the area.. Dona

Check out this site for Quartzsite and click on "outdoor" shows. One thing, you cannot sell at your site if you're staying on BLM land, boondocking. For the town shows during the winter season, you need to fill out an application and submit payment for a booth. Weather? Beginning in November and through Feb/March. Then the heat arrives and the people leave. Have a good winter wherever you end up!
