Asheville

We are looking to spend a week around Asheville this summer as a base to explore the area. We'd like a nice view from our campsite. I've seen a lot of people recommend Mama Gertie's and Campfire Lodgings. Which do you prefer? Campfire Lodgings is a little more expensive.

Mama Gerties; if you can get a reservation, get one. The view sites up top are very nice but go quickly

Campfire Lodging, hard to be this 180 degree view.

Sites 1-5 have the best views, this was site 2.

Sat around one night and just watched the thunderstorms rolling through the mountains...

I'll agree with Campfire Lodgings, but you only have the view if you have one of the bluff side sites.
