The view from Campfire Lodgings can't be beat, I'm attaching a photo of our visit, but be forewarned - the entry road is steep, winding, narrow and gravel. You have to be confident in your driving skills, especially if you leave the toad connected on your way up. Another option would be to stay at the Tom Johnson's camping center RV park in Marion, about 30 minutes to the east. Nice location and easy access for any rig.

We enjoyed "Americamps" CG. Used to be a KOA.

We stayed at Mama Gerties. It is way up on the side of a mountain with magnificent views. Most mornings we saw fog.....way down below us. A nice cool place to camp far away from any road noise, etc.....I would highly recommend it. We were on the upper tier with all Tiffin Phaetons, one Allegro Bus and a Bluebird Wonderlodge.

We've not stayed there, but have toured through it. Very high end. Should you decide to go there be sure to follow their directions as to how to get to the park. Most of the access roads are very narrow with many sharp switchbacks.
