We are going to be in Statesville NC on a family trip. Thinking of going for a trip to Asheville NC for a one night side trip. Has anyone stayed at the Wilson's Riverfront RV Park?

The best campground in Asheville is Mama Girties. Easy to get to and great views and people. No I don't work for them.

We have stayed at Mama Girties 2 times and enjoyed our stay both times. It is a very clean park and the people were super nice.

We stayed at Wilson's this summer, we were there for 4 or 5 days. The place is basic but good. All concrete pads, good power and water. Stayed right on the river, great site. PA rate is only $13.00 first night and $16.00 next night. No problem with the owner or people there, all good. We would stay there again, for sure. Very convenient to Biltmore and the village. Make sure you get to Black Mountain if you are in that area, nice town for a walk and eats.
