Campfire Lodging

Campfire lodgings was great, good people. great views. A little tuff to tow a toad up there. I disconnected before heading up the mountain. Went there in 36 ft. Class A

Asheville NC. camping

Campfire Lodge was great last November. If you want a view ask for a premium site on top of the hill. We were there in a 39' class A and we agree, take the towd off before you go up the mountain. Also there are certain hours to go up the mountain and certain hours to come back down. Ask the office staff for the schedule.

The KOA East on I-40 has the best scenery. There is a nice trout stream running through the campground. The KOA West sits on a hill so you will have to drive up a a hill to get to the office. Both are nice and quiet.

We really liked Wilson's. If your really sensitive to highway noise, you might not like it. But, it has a bike trail going through it, and a awesome park/recreation area right next to it.
