Aviation Arbor RV Park, Belle Chasse, LA

I am currently planning my trip through the Gulf Coast region with a planned stop in New Orleans. I wanted to stay at the Aviation Arbor RV Park and called today to ensure that my Retired Civilian DOD ID would be adequate to stay there. I called and spoke to a young lady who couldn't answer the question so she asked someone else and the answer came back that I needed a base pass to get in the front gate. Does this mean that only those with current base passes, as opposed to an ID, can use this RV Park?

Does anyone have better information or experience staying at this park?

It does not, I go to military rv parks and all I ever needed was a current ID. Air force no longer uses the DOD vehicle sticker

Thanks for the response. I didnít think it made it lot of sense. I could understand having to show registration and insurance for compliance and maybe getting a temporary pass but not being able to stay doesnít seem to add up.
