Avoid Las Vegas

TRAVEL ALERT:

As many of you might know, I live Pahrump, Nevada fulltime is Class A Fleetwood Motorhome. You may have heard about our horrendous wind storm that just came through yesterday and the day before. Las Vegas received a lot of damage from the wind and some homes were destroyed. There are still several blocks of downed power lines and several streets still closed because of downed power poles. 44,000 residents have been without power. If you are planning a visit to Vegas I would suggest waiting until Wednesday since we are expecting rain on Monday which is only making matters worse.

Other than a small stretch of road behind the strip, Vegas didn't skip a beat.

It rained mud in Pahrump. Glad to have you back in town Cimplexsound!
