Barren River Lake or Green River Lake Kentucky

We are looking at taking a long weekend down in either Barren River Lake or Green River Lake Kentucky. We are looking for recommendations for campgrounds in the area that offer water as a side line. Would really like to have a campsite that backs up to the water so that we can just yank the waverunner on the shore right at our campsite. All we really need is electric for the A/C at night and we would be happy.

We are going to take a day to go see Mammoth Cave but then want to play on the water the other days.
