If you are looking for a wonderful park in or near Austin, Texas. La Hacienda RV Resort is it. Nice level sites, perfectly clean bathroom and showers, laundry, work out room and wonderful family and adult pool/spa. People couldn't be nicer and they also have cute little cottages for those extra visitors that want to stay but don't have a RV or camper. Can't say enough positive about this place and it's just down the road from Lake Travis (although the lake is very low these days).

We generally avoid any place with "resort" in their name due to unreasonable rates at most, but then we are fulltimers so have different interests in RV parks than some do ...we're not normally looking for entertainment. According to La Hacienda's website their monthly rate isn't bad ...good place perhaps for someone who has a month's vacation and wants to do it near a lake. A couple of years ago, we spent a month near Round Rock on the North side of Austin.

Rates are a bit pricey and they don't like rigs over 10 years old. Not my kind of place.
