Looking at this park for a late October trip. Any input?

Happy Camping!

Great park, particularly if you like hiking and fishing. Thet have some great new sites located right on the river, but they are first come first serve. I have been fortunate to get one of the last sites available on two occassions, we normally travel mid week. Nice forest heritage center in the park. Nice native american museum just south in idabel. Both are worth a visit in my opinion if you enjoy those sorts of things. Peaceful and beautiful area, most cannot believe it is in Oklahoma, some folks like to keep it secret. Both visits we met a lot of nice folks, most had crossed the border from Texas, we checked their passports, lol.

It is a great place. We have rented a cabin there. Just haven't taken the RV there yet.
