How was Bella Terra? I've heard good things about it, but I'm a State Park kinda gal, so wondering if I'd fit in with the Bella Terra crowd.
It's one of our favorite "get away" places. It's close and it's very nice. This time of year they have some planned activities. This is what is going for the weekend we'll be there. We'll be getting in Friday after lunch.

Friday, October 5th Bella Terra’s Open House Weekend!
9 AM Join us for a Continental Breakfast in the Clubhouse. Featuring author and guest speaker, Richard Parker who will explain “How to make your RV tax deductible”.
5 PM – 7 PM “Happy Hour” Bella Terra style! All guests are welcome! Beer, wine, and light hors d’ oeuvres will be served.
Saturday, October 6th
10 AM – 11 AM Skin Care Class , with Mary Kay Specialist Kandice Welch. "Goody bags" for those who join us, and there will be a drawing for a door prize. Sign up in the Welcome Center; Space is limited!
12 noon Pizza Party by the Pool! Enjoy your Saturday afternoon poolside at Bella Terra. All guests are welcome! Please sign up in the welcome center if you plan to join us!
ALL DAY - We will be showing your favorite college football games on the big screen in the clubhouse!

Topsail Hill Preserve State Park, down Destin way, is also a favorite of ours. We recently enjoyed a week of relaxation at Service COE park just outside of Coffeeville, AL.
