Bellingham WA RV parking

I will be leaving my motorhome in Bellingham WA and taking the Alaska Marine Ferry to Skagway via Wragell and Juneau. I will take my car with me on the trip and drive back from Skagway. I need a place to park/store the motorhome for about 2 weeks with a 15/20 amp plug just to keep the batteries charged. Does anyone have any suggestions. There is a parking facility near the ferry terminal but it does not appear all that secure and there is no power available.

Have you considered taking the MH with you and enjoy the trip back? The RV park on the north end of town is pretty decent Right off the freeway at the airport exit. We stayed there for 9 days this fall and was fine.

When do you need it? If it is not during July or August, I may have a solution for you up at Birch Bay (about 20 miles from the ferry but on your way back after crossing the border). If you are interested, PM me and I will check for you.

coupevilleDF,
Thanks, but it just happens to be in July when I am going on the ferry. I originally thought of taking the motorhome with me but it's just too expensive so I am taking just the car. Just the car along is about $820.

The reason for the summer restriction is the location is at a camp amd my MH will be there to support the camp.

Good luck on finding a spot. And have a great time. We took a clas C up in '86 but left from Prince Rupert to save money.
