Crown Villa if you don't mind paying the $$$$$$.

While there be sure and try Baldy's BBQ | Taste the love

Also check out http://www.highdesertmuseum.org/dona...ds-prey-center if birds are of interest to you.

Look into the campground at the fairgrounds in Redmond. It is a nice park.

Another one to consider is Scandia RV Park. We are here now and it's a nice place. It's our second time staying here.

Wow. $70 bucks a night. You can buy a nice motel room for that. What happened to these campground rates?

We stayed at Scandia for just over a week last month. We were very happy with it.

Crown Villa is very nice. We camped in the kid free section last October. We looked pretty funny with our cabover.

Now that you have the RV space taken care of while in Bend you might want to check out the High Desert Museum.

Haystack Lake SP was quite nice. Plan to spend a few weeks at Newberry National Volcanic Monument.

We stayed at Scandia in July (Crown Villa was booked) and it was OK. A little tight getting in an out but overall OK.

I guess it is all about the location. Surprised that Crown Villa gets $70 per night. We are now at Mountain Falls RV Resort in NC and it is absolutely stunning with huge pads, beautiful landscaping, etc. at $55 per night.

Ended up staying at crown for 3 nights. Pad was wonderful big manicured grass strip in between us and the next row of rigs, staff was wonderful. We pulled in at about midnight, and my lights flashed over 2 allegory buses and a brand new monaco dynasty. I wondered if they were going to kick my 98 daybreak to the curb in the morning, but I think they were just as kind to me as they were everyone else
