Best campground in Pigeon Forge Tn

Looking for the best campground in that area. Need to stay under $40 per night. Looking to go the second week if February.

nice place right as you start to climb the hill towards gatlinburg. I think it was called foothills at one time. I do believe it changed names a while back. maybe some one else knows what the name is now

River Plantation is the best in my opinion. They have the biggest sites and are not crowded together as many campgrounds in this area are. Irv2 chose this campground for their convention.

Last year, we stayed at Creekside campground. Its off of the "beaten path" by a few blocks. The staff was very friendly. Paved sites, full hook ups and a pool. We would definitely stay again if we revisited the area.

We always stay at River Plantation. We prefer the sites in the back on the river. Most of the campgrounds in the area are ok.

Any thoughts on River Edge in Pigeon Forge? It's located on the left on the parkway just before you head up the mountain to enter Gatlinburg.

Stayed at Creekside. Great campground and the shuttle comes right in the campground so you can go anywhere in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. Had a great time.

Check out Pine Mountain RV Resort located at traffic light #6 in Pigeon Forge. Stayed there just after Christmas and it couldn't have been nicer. Helpful staff, 4 point hook up, level concrete pads, fire rings, etc. The park is relatively new (3 years old approximately). You also have use of the indoor pool and hot tub at the hotel right across the street since it's the same owner group. Convenient to all attractions. We had a fantastic time and will visit again.

Those are all very good sites. We usually stay at River Plantation, but Creekside is very good. Not sure which ones are less than $40, but maybe in Feb they all are. Weekend traffic is not an issue this time of the year, but it can be the closer you get to Gatlinburg in the high season.

Rivers edge is nice kinda close and you will get a lot of smoke from camp fires.pine mountain nothing fancy, the spots on the river only a few good for MH due to the slop. Koa at patriot park good location but alittle high priced.
