Best ipad apps for campground reviews?

This may have been covered but what are the favorite apps for campground reviews? Not websites but apps for the ipad.

Thanks! I have RV park finder and a paper goodalls but the Allstay's looks intriguing. Not cheap but good reviews. Anyone using it know if you can add your own reviews? I sometimes find that individual's comments are the most useful.

We Camp Here

"WeCampHere" is a good app and it can also be viewed via the WEB @ wecamphere.com

It is a good research tool but like many apps it dose not include all camp grounds so I find myself searching across several apps such as the allstays, etc.

If you frequent non commercial campgrounds, check out CampWhere.

It looks like allstays is free on the web but 10 bucks for the app? Am I missing something?

Yes, they charge for the app, but it is worth it.

I have this app also but as I stated previously I can't find an all-inclusive app. What I find myself doing is double checking several apps and then if I am really doing serious research I launch Microsoft Street & Trips, it appears to be the most complete but I have found campgrounds that were not listed in Microsoft eitherů

I find that Allstay's is my go to app. Well worth the price.

Allstays camp & rv is fantastic. Used it each time we plan a trip then also en route as plans change

Also great when looking for (specific) travel stations, stores, rest tops, etc.

We use AllStays all the time...even when we are not camping. We like to buy gas at Murphy and the app shows every Walmart and tells whether they have gas and/or diesel. It also maps for you, so if we are looking for a place to stay or just get gas, then that's the goto app.

It has saved us much time and money and is well worth the cost. I can't imagine needing anything else in a travel app.

Does allstays need to be connected to the web to be useful? If I don't have a connection (like when driving) is it useful?

This is why I like Microsoft Streets & Trips, it is not dependent on having an internet/WiFi connection the program is loaded on the computer, laptop or windows based tablet (no iPad, iPhone, etc). It has an external GPS receiver (antenna) that can give you turn by turn directions. What I typically do is plan out my trip, including what campgrounds I want to stay, on the Microsoft program and either use its turn by turn function or load in the way points into my Rand McNally to get me to the next stop.

The Microsoft program is a good tool to do research and to plan a more complex trip or to research a particular area for points of interest, including campgrounds. I have used this program for many years including its European version to plan a 5000 KM driving tour of Europe, Southern Italy north to the Baltic Sea and back.

NO, I have no financial connection to Microsoft, just relating my experience with this program.
