Best spring break camp grounds in the sunny south?

Best spring break camp grounds in the sunny south?
My wife and I spent all last summer finding and then renovating our dream RV. We got it done just in time for winter to set in and so we are looking forward to camping during spring break. As teachers we have limited opportunities, so the first week of April will be it. We are looking for recommendations for warm weather and nice accommodations. My wife is a runner and would enjoy running on the beach. Being within walking distance to the beach is a plus. By the way we have a 38 foot diesel pusher.
Thanks in advance.

Have you asked your students where they go? Could be you'll get some good suggestions for places to go (or avoid).

Geronimo RV Park in Miramar Beach (Destin area). Quiet little park about a block from the beach. Not super crazy like Panama City gets.

Gulf State Park between Gulf Shores and Orange Beach Al. Across the street from the beach and has over 15 miles of running/biking trails throughout the park. Orange Beach also has dedicated bike/running sidewalks throughout the area.

You might want to reconsider your information source. The only active red tide along any Florida beach is in the Sarasota area. That's pretty far from the panhandle area.
