Best views near Asheville, NC

We're heading for Asheville next week & wondered if anyone had additional recommendations for RV parks in the area that have a nice view. Campfire Lodgings & Moma Gerties are full.....any other ideas?

Thanks all.

Dave

We just got back from campfire lodgings a week ago. It will be hard to beat the view we had there. There is a campground on the blue ridge parkway at Mt. Mitchell, don't know a whole lot about it but the view should be great.

I don't know where you ended up but we went to Mama Gerties a few weeks ago and it was fabulous. They are adding more units in the upper area and it appears that they are adding showers in that area as well.

They have beautiful views, great service and wonderfully helpful people!
