Question Best way to enter Rafter J-Bar Campground, SD?

We are planning our first "Out West" adventure in late July, leaving Michigan and entering South Dakota via I-90. We have a "trip-tik" from AAA, but knew you were the best people to ask.

What's the best way to get to Rafter J-Bar Ranch Campground in South Dakota for a 40' diesel towing a Jeep Wrangler? We'll be spending a week there while we sightseeing. Out trip-tik sends us south on 230 out of Rapid City, to 16, to 385. Any issues with that route? Thanks for your input!

rather than exiting I90 on the east side of Rapid City on the 230 exit, I would continue on I90 a few more miles west and exit right at the route 16 exit (57). either way will work, but the 230 has a few more turns in city traffic and easier to get lost in downtown. Once you exit on 16, just stay on 16 toward Hill City; about 3 miles south of Hill City is the sign & right turn into Rafter J-Bar.
