Better choice from I95 to Winter Garden FL

Heading from Hilton Head to Winter Garden tomorrow. Is it better going to Jacksonville and Orlando (that route was a nightmare back in Sept) or I-10 and catch the FL Turnpike?

No matter how bad it is, the 95 - 4 route is the best. Your timing can effect the trip a lot.

Consider going around Jax to the east on I-285.

For Winter Garden I'd probably pick up SR-528 (toll) south of Titusville, then over to the Turnpike and take the Turnpike northwest to the Winter Garden area. Although longer it would avoid a lot of the Orlando metro area. Pick your timing carefully if you can.
