Between Revelstoke and Vancouver, BC

Greetings all! Were having a hard time finding a good campground between Revelstoke and Vancouver. Can anyone suggest a good one not too far off the TransCanada. We dont want to make the hop from Revi to Van is all.
Thank you!

I've stayed in both Kamloops and Cache Creek, at parks within sight of the highway. But not in the past 5 years, I'll check my old travel records for names, both parks were older but adequate.
Do either of those places look close enough to half way for you?

Have stayed at this one a few times. It's handy to the highway for an overnight stay. Can accommodate big rigs. Fairly busy in July / August. Would call ahead.

We found the Logan Lake Municipal Camoground very nice for overnight. South of Kamloops, convenient access to the Coquihalla Hwy, very quiet, simple, 30 amp only, but charming. Access was fine for 32 ft motorhome towing, had level pull thru on gravel. Hiking around the lake, wild raspberries.

Depends on if you are taking the Trans Canada all the way or if you are going to take the Coquihalla from Kamloops through Merrit. If you are going Cache Creek way (Trans Canada) be sure to check what the local situation is. They had some pretty significant flooding not too long ago affecting mostly the downtown area but worth checking out.

Pulled this up for Merrit. This is about as far as I wanted to go when last coming back from Revelstoke area.

Thank you all for the good advice. Were going to stay at Logan Lake municipal campground and special thanks to ST453 for suggesting it. It works for our routing and breaks up the drive nicely. I will report back when were hame.

Ok Logan Lake campground is on a hillside so some sloped sites - bring your blocks, and no water at the site - kinda unusual.

Had a look round the campground. The nature walk is a treat. Saw an amazing sight. A large bald eagle circled directly over overhead. There were two in the tall pine I was standing under and I thought it was a large raven till I noticed its white tail feathers.
It circled the tree the others were in then came in for a landing on the very top directly above me. Wow what a brilliant stalling maneuver such strong beatings of the air from those massive wings. When he landed he threw his head back and let out a piercing shriek - honey Im home!
Did I mention the excellent cel phone coverage and the strong wi-fi!
