Smile Bike path campgrounds

I am compiling a list of campgrounds that are adjacent to a bike trail. The info that I need is 1) paved trail and 2) you can reach the trail without riding on roads. It is okay if the trail is a couple hundred yards away on a country/non-busy road. I'm in central Ohio, but my list will include all of the lower USA states. All help is appreciated!

Just to be clear, do you only want to list paved trails?

On Jekyl Island, GA there is a campground from which you simply need to cross a two-lane highway to get to the entire system of biking opportunities. I've stayed there on two occasions and truly like the island.

Hi lynnmor... Yes, only paved trails. My wife & I (and a ton of people that we know) ride recumbent trikes. They are fun and super comfortable, but they like paved trails the best! Thanks for the quick response.

We just left San Antonio KOA and right behind the campground is a paved city bike trail. Follows a creek, goes by a golf course, etc. I think it's about 10 miles long.
In Sarasota, there is the Legacy Trail, I think that's about 15miles long . Oscar Scherer State park has access to the trail Trail goes between Venice and Sarasota on an old railroad right of way.

The Indianapolis Monon Trail runs directly behind the Indiana State Fairgrounds campground.(full hookup campground). You can access the trail via the sidewalk on 38th street. You're only on the sidewalk for about 10 feet. The trail is paved and is limited to bikers, walkers and rollerbladers. It goes from 10th street in downtown Indy to 171st st., approx. 17 miles.

In Wisconsin, the first rails-to-trails bike trail in the US, the Elroy-Sparta Bike Trail, is excellent.
Home of America's First Rails to Trails Project and it is 32 miles long.
The Tunnel Trail Campground is next to the trail and is very good : Tunnel Trail Campground - Camping in Wilton, WI near Sparta
