Any advice on campgrounds near Biltmore NC. My wife wants to go there next month so were looking for campgrounds or state parks close to the estate. Thanks Jim ... 38' Monaco Windsor class A

We stayed at the Asheville East KOA. Very quiet and big sites.

At the Biltmore, make sure you take either the 'behind the scenes' tour or the 'rooftop' tour in addition to the regular tour. Both are great and show you the engineering that went into the construction of the estate.

Try Mama Gertie's. We were there about 5 years ago. Close to Biltmore, and it's a really nice campground.

Thanks made the reservation at Taps for 10-7-11 until 10-9-11 if anyone else is there stop and say hi. 97 Monaco Windsor with a Harley on a lift on the back. Thanks again
