Birchwood RV Park, Durham NC

My daughter just moved to Raleigh to attend grad school and we will be traveling there on Tuesday. Wow, never knew it would be so difficult to find a RV park. Birchwood looks like a nice place, anyone ever camped there? The other place we found was College Park RV. We have a 38', 3 slide Intruder and will be traveling with our German Shepherd so would need a dog friendly park. I checked out Jordan Lake but we will only be there 4 days and don't have time to make reservations. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!

I do not know anything about Birchwood park. College RV is behind an rv dealer with some contractors (no really attractive). I really recommend Jordan Lake or Falls Lake State Recreation areas. This time of the year and during the week there should not be any issue getting a site. I have stayed at both Falls Lake and Jordan lake and they are similar.

Thank you for the reply. My daughter called yesterday to tell me about Falls Lake so I called there and they said there shouldn't be a problem getting a site. She lives in north Raleigh so it will be closer for her, and a nicer place for us. Thank you
