Blazing Star RV Resort in San Antonio, TX

I'm scheduled to spend a couple of months at Blazing Star in San Antonio. I'm just wondering if anyone has stayed there recently. Supposedly they have free wifi now, where before it cost extra. Is that true? And is the wifi any good? I'm so tired of RV parks saying they have wifi just to find out it doesn't work. A wifi system that doesn't work isn't a wifi system. It's a paperweight.

Also, Blazing Star has an unusually harsh cancellation policy. You have to pay when you make the reservation and if you cancel with less than 30 days notice, you get no money back. I'm starting to regret making this reservation; especially if I get there and the park sucks.

Can someone please tell me if I've made a mistake?!

Here's a review I wrote on RV Park Reviews last April:
"This park is advertised as a Luxury resort. Not sure I'd go that far, but it is a nice place. We were in a 41 'RV and had some very close calls getting into the lane our site was on and getting onto our assigned pad. The only other aggravation was that the pad was narrow and the sewage dump port was uphill from the pad. Kind of a pain to empty your hose uphill. Otherwise, the front building/reception/store area is very nice as well as a very nice heated pool, which we did not use, but a lot of people were enjoying it. They gave us Wi-Fi free the first day, but you have to buy it after that. For the price of the site, you'd think Wi-Fi would be included. For those with smaller rigs, this park should be very enjoyable. But for big rigs, it's negotiable, but tedious in my opinion. We camped here in a Motorhome. "
Their WiFi is Tengonet which I hate.

I agree with HicksRA. It's an ok park but in my opinion too pricey for what you get. A 40' coach is difficult to maneuver into some of the tight spots. I tried 2 other sites before I could get it one with enough room to open all the sides. I didn't use the wifi I travel with my on. The staff is nice and accommodating.
