Blue Water Key RV

Finally made down here. About 12 miles from key west. We had site 34 for 2 days which is on the lagoon side and backs right up to the beautiful pool. Now we're in site 61 which is waterfront. Not the most luxurious site, but has a dock and tiki hut. This is a beautiful place. Very windy and cool, but that's ok. I'm sure we'll be backClick image for larger version

This is our third consecutive year here at SSK mile marker 39. This is the strangest "winter" we've experienced yet. Sunday afternoon we had two a/c's going...since then we're wearing jackets.

Ditto. We're eating outside right now wishing we'd brought warmer clothes.

Blue Water is a great place, we couldn't get in this year so we are at the KOA on Sugarloaf MM20. It nice, having fun, but no blue water.. Lol. But I agree, weather has been weird. Sitting outside as I type this and it is finally a beautiful morning! Enjoy..

Really missing Bluewater this year, staying at the Kids Of America (KOA) as my wife calls it has been no picnic. Outside bar that is suppose to close at 10, doesn't. Pool and jacuzzi stays open 24/7! Don't get me wrong it's good and bad, but it's missing the tranquility that I think we all enjoy. Would stay here in a pinch, but won't be on the top of my list!

I agree Blue Water Key is over the top and peaceful. Last year we stayed waterfront mid March -April with a very deluxe large hut behind it. One wall was full kitchen, granite counter tops, cabinets, ice maker, large screen tv, dining area and separate seating area for 12, clear roll up vinyl window walls, commercial outdoor kitchen and grill, jet ski pad, and a dock with lights under it to watch fish at night. I think it was for sale for 7 or 8 hundred grand. I hadn't won the lottery so I passed.
