I guess it depends on how you define kid friendly. It's friendly from the standpoint that kids are welcomed. We've been there two Christmases running, and there were kids there. But I would have to say that it isn't designed with kids in mind. There is no playground that I can recall, but there is a pool.
Come to think of it, I'd say it is kid friendly to the extent that Key West as a vacation destination is kid friendly.
