This was back in 2010, times might if changed since then

We also experienced mechanical troubles on the way down thus possibly they bent the rules for us?

It would not surprise me if they make exceptions in special cases like mechanical problems. I look forward to going there in March.

You will love it!
Great! Thank you!!

They told us NO late arrivals. We will plan to be there between 1-5 as she indicated.

We also rented kayaks from Blue Planet on Cudjoe key for the week and they delivered them! Also used Big Kahuna charters for a half day of fishing as well. Chris is an old salty that is extremely knowledgeable about the local waters.

Bluewater RV Key West Fl

Wife & I stayed on the canal side last April for two weeks. Water side was windy and canal side, no wind.
Large grass roofed Hut with TV, refrigerator hot & cold sink, microwave. All lots are tropical treed and quite private. Not the typical RV site with no tropical foliage and just a concrete parking pad.
We were so impressed that we purchased a tropical decorated RV site at Crystal Lake RV Park in Naples, on the way to visit our Son in Clearwater.
We rent it out and plan on going back to Bluewater next October, then to Naples for November.
Sure wish I could afford a Bluewater site too.

Be sure to find "NO NAME BAR" and stop in. Great place for cold brewski and eats.

We are just back from Bluewater RV Resort for a three days stay on lot 77. It was fabulous, exactly the kind of RV resort we like. Planning to go to the West Coast of Florida towards the end of Jan or begin Feb, do you know of any other extraordinary site on the west coast?

Thanks for the tips. We are now at Point of View for 2 nights and Blue Water Key for 5 nights after that. Should be a great Spring Break

BWK

We stayed there this August, 9 days loved every minute of it. Lot 62 was a great site, when I go back I will do my best to get it again!

BWK has no peer as far as I am concerned. However, there are some nice places in Naples that I am familiar with. Pelican Lake and Naples Motorcoach Resort come to mind.
