I'll see if I can dig out some pics-- we stay there a couple times a year. What site do you have reserved? They are all nice and all different in amenities.
In the mean time, I will suggest that you plan your trip to arrive there in the early afternoon as they do not accept RV's after dark. What we do is stay at Miami-Everglades near Homestead and that makes for a nice ride in on the day our reservations start.

Pan, Thanks a bunch. we have not made reservatios as of yet, .com site said wait till after the first of the year. might sound silly but it is our first retirement trip so we really want to do what we can to get best site possible. Miami -Everglades is that a campground? if so how long drive from there?

If you are referring to: Blue Water Keys resort down near Key West.....we loved it. I'd highly recommend staying on the bayside instead of the canal side. We loved it, as we had our own cabana, boat dock, etc...price is a little steep, but you get what you pay for (most of the time). It was pretty windy each and every day. Hope you enjoy !!

We have stayed there 4 times in the last 2 years. Nice, quiet, and peaceful. They have Bayfront, Canal, and some landlocked near the pool, all are pleasant. Which ever you have chose will be pleasant and the next time you will know exactly what you want. If you are coming down I75 it is about 5 hours from Fort Meyers. It is located at mile marker 14 on the left be careful not to miss it, it's aways South to find a turn around. Treat yourself to Mangrove Mama's at milemarker 20 during your stay.

Yes- Miami-Everglades is a CG near Homestead, it makes for about a 3-4 hour drive to get to Bluewater.
Check out the .net site and see some to the site pics Rita has .

We also have stayed there and it is fantastic. We stayed in spot 68 on the bay. Beautiful spot. We stayed at the Muskogee Casino in Homestead (free) the night before the beautiful drive to the keys in the morning.

Don't forget September is in the middle of the hurricane season.
Check weather before going.
And make sure your AC's are working good. As they will be needed 24/7

Hurricane
Good point we never thought of that. As for the .net site yes we have checked it and .com site. The issue is we will be traveling in a 38 ft 5th wheel so we are limited in what sites will accomidate a back in rv. More in fo please

If there are any spots limited in length they are rare. The lots are owned by individuals and many are rented out thru the HOA and another individual (.net .com) when the owners are not there. I have a 38.5 foot MH and have not seen any question about length, although they do have some minimal equipment restrictions.

bluewater
Not worried about length of rv, but more where the utilities are located, such as electric water and sewer
