Boondocked Along A Friends Riverbank Land

Stayed by a riverbank on a friends property on Friday and Saturday night. Played bean bag toss, roasted marshmallows and hotdogs over the campfire and jammed to satellte radio (70's channel) while having beverages. Two of us had RV's while the other two had tents. The price was right, free!

Yup, the heck with campgrounds.

We spent our weekend at a friends ranch. Parked the MH out by the barn. Woke up to a rooster crowing and the thud of horse hooves as they were playing.

Always the best weekends.

Spent the weekend on Council Grove reservoir, have lived within 60 miles for the last 10 years and just went this weekend due to the Blue Green algae problems on Milford Lake. Very nice lake and very quiet COE campground

Less is best - Like we like to say "It just doesn't get any better than this."

I am lucky to have four friends that live fairly close who have land and are nice enough to let friends and me camp.

They are all free except for one which his landlord charges 10 bucks. No problem on my part! (all boondocking)

It looks like I am going here again later on this afternoon.
