Greetings all! I am looking at taking my daughter, my girlfriend and her daughter to Tweetsie Railroad May 18-21. I was looking at staying at Flintlock Campground, but have found a couple of poor reviews and a couple of good reviews, all of them a few years old. Does any one have any camp ground info for that area? I have been looking online all day and found a couple, but none of them have very good pictures. I am looking for a spacious site preferably on a creek. Full hook ups (30 amp), near Tweetsie. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, You might look at "Meadows of Dan", on the Blue Ridge Parkway. It s Nat'l Park Serv. campground, not too far from Boone, and can probably accomodate your combined length.
Happy trails.
Larry

Thanks for the input Larry. Meadows of Dan is a little too far from Tweetsie though. My Mom and Dad (Hitchhiker) have been there and said it was a nice campground, though.
I will make it there eventually....
