Boston Area RV Parks/Campgrounds

We're searching for a nice RV Park in the Boston area around Oct. 15th-20th. We wouldn't mind being between Boston and Cape Cod, so we could investigate both from one site. We know about Normandy Farms, but have no desire to pay their rates. We're driving a 37' DP w/a Saturn Aura Toad.
Any suggestions would be appreciated greatly.

Boston/Cape Cod KOA is a possibility. hthttp://koa.com/campgrounds/boston/tp://

Boston Minuteman is north of Boston, but very nice. Boston Minuteman Campground

Everything near Boston with hookups is going to be more expensive than you like.

There are several other campgrounds in the Plymouth area, but I have never been to any of them.

Last summer we stayed at Black Bear Campground in Salisbury, Ma. Right near the border of Mass and NH. Close to the ocean and train into Boston. Full hook-ups are $50. It was close enough to the city and we would stay there again.

At that time of year, availability will trump price. Reservations will be a must.
That is prime leaf peeper season and just prior to shut down for most.
Best of luck.

Canoe River, same area as Normandy is at the opposite end of the chain on quality but a little less in price. They price themselves just below Normandy and know it. Not a bad park, just a lot less desirable than Normandy. Power was ample, water pressure is fine and pull throughs are level in the new area way out back. If you just want a place to dock this will make do just fine.

We were recently at Mill Brook RV Park in Kingston NH. 42 miles outside Boston. Nice park, GREAT people, full hook ups. If you go, please tell Ray and Dianne (owners) we say Hi, but make reservations. Family and pet friendly.

Sandy Pond, Plymouth, MA is located near Bourne and close to the Cape Cod bridges. One lake and a small fishing pond, full hookups. Full store for supplies which is open to the public and is a year round business so is well stocked.
Circle CG in Bellingham, Ma exit 18 route 495 is nice for a few day stop over and has full hookups.

I'll add a vote the Minuteman Campground count.

Stayed there as a base to visit Boston, Salem and lower Maine.

Nice people, nicely wooded (tall trees).
