What is the weather usually like for this area from Mid to late Sept?

We went through that are the last week in Sept. Georgous. In fact the whole northern half of the eastern seaboard is terrific.

I agree, best time of the year. Besides pleasant temps., all the vacationers are gone after Labor Day. But Boston traffic can be a bear. Best to stay outside the city and take mass transit. One place I would recommend is Minuteman Campground.
