Boston to Nova Scotia and back, 7 days - Must sees?

I've got a short window of 7 days, and want to visit Nova Scotia. I'll take one day to travel there, and one day to return. So I've got 5 days in NS to sightsee. Any good recommendations on what not to miss? Will be driving a 20' Class B, willing to use campgrounds or boondock if possible. Purpose is general sightseeing, and teaching photography to my son in the process. So nice photo locations are a plus, along with local culture and ambiance.

Hello,

We did Nova Scotia 2 years ago and loved every minute of it. We stayed in Hubbards Nova Scotia which was fairly central to Lunenburg, Peggys Cove, and Halifax. All must sees. I would also say that Hopewell Rocks is another must see.

Enjoy and take it all in.

Sonny

Will be there next week, in Harrington Maine this week. We will be staying at Old shipyard beach campground for 2 weeks.

The Titanic Museum in Halifax, Cabot Trail, the Alexander Graham Bell Museum in Baddeck, and the Fortress of Louisbourg are all exellent destinations. You could do that loop in 5 days, but you will be busy.

We will be traveling in that area in the next year or two. Post some pics of your favorite spots on the forum if you can.
