Has anyone stayed at Winter Quarters Manatee RV resort? If you have can you give me your impression of the park, management, amenities, etc.

We are planning a trip to the area in Feb and are considering this RV park.

Thanks,

Marc

Hi Marc, my wife and I actually just got home today from Winter Quarters. It is a pretty decent park with 490 lots surrounding a 17acre lake. They have 2 pools, one small and a one large at the rec hall with a hot tub, shuffleboard pool etc. It is a well maintained park and they let you pick the site you want. One side of the park is near I75 and can be loud. We were on the north side near the manatee river and it's nice but there are no-see-ums near the river. I use to live near there and the no-see-ums can be a pain.
We have not stayed at another park called Sun-n-Fun in Sarasota, but you may want to check that one out, I have heard good things about that one.
Good Luck and have fun.
