Brandon to Grand Canyon

Have 10 days to get from Branson to Grand Canyon. Any suggestions of route, things to visit and campgrounds along the way.

We took I40 west out of Nashville last spring. If that interest you, I can suggest the names of campgrounds we stayed at.

I guess that depends on whether you are leaving from Brandon or Branson ...

From the title I thought you were in Oregon. Then I read further. You don't need 10 days to get from Branson. Is that the amount of time you have for the whole trip - back and forth and the Canyon visit? There has been snow up there already so bring warm clothes. It's beautiful when it snows though. Have a good trip. I-40 is the fastest route.

Ok, so I will be leaving Branson MO and have 10 days before we check in at campground at Grand Canyon. Looking for suggestions of places to visit and places to stay during that portion of our 3 mo. trip.

I'm not much on I-40 but whatever works for you - In your time frame I'd' get to Arizona then Check out Canyon de Chelly - Possibly Monument Valley then Page/Lake Powell/Antelope Canyon/Colorado River and come into the Grand Canyon from the East on RT 64

While it has Cooled off, I doubt you will have any weather related issues. Might just get Really Lucky and Catch a little snow, but you will need a lot of Luck.

Best of Luck,

Juniper Campground in Palo Duro Canyon (second largest canyon in the US), Route 66 Casino and RV (brand new off I40) to visit Old Town Albuquerque. OK Campground near Painted Desert and Petrified Forest.
