We always stay at the Koa. It is close enough to come and go easily, yet just far enough off the strip to be quiet. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub super clean.... And the free pancakes at breakfast are very nice.

There is a Escapee's park in Hollister which is right next to Branson and a short drive to old downtown Branson. It is pretty nice and you can rent canoe's and kayak's there if I remember correctly
