We've thought about taking a trip out to Branson, MO. What is so good about Branson to make it worth the journey?

Have a great time and safe travels. I hear there are some very nice campgrounds-rv parks there. Some year maybe the wife and I will check it out too.

The drive is is really pretty, the people there are really nice, there is a variety of dinner shows, as well as regular shows , there is a ventriloquist that is really good on a riverboat diner crusie. The lakes are really pretty there . It is a nice area to just chill out. Beware last time we went my wife saw a bass boat she had to have. !!! She hardly fishes!!!!!*&^**&

I am going to put Branson on our places to visit, but for us the journey is 1,452 miles and includes I40, I44, and then the last few miles is a State Highway...not so much pretty for us. But, I've heard more than once that it's a good place to visit.

If anyone wants to know if Branson is worth the trip, go to Branson.com : The Official Branson Website and check it out. There are quite a few sites about Branson. Google "Branson mo" for a selection. The bottom line is Branson is a "G" rated town. Quite a variety of entertainment for families. I go every three years or so.
