We've been there twice - used Branson Lakeside RV Park - close enough to walk (push wheelchair) to Branson Landing for shopping/shows. Level - which many of the other places are not! ST

This made me LOL since I never think of Branson as "west". I assume you will be just passing through to get farther west.

Branson certainly can get very crowded. We generally by-pass it as far as we can, but we are pretty anti-crowds. We used to go past it to the lovely rivers in central Missouri - Current, Jacks For, Eleven Point. Ahhh, lovely places. It can get hot early, and it is a humid heat. Just be prepared.

Back to Branson, the KOA is decent, and there are lots of campgrounds all around the lake if you want a bit more quiet at night. Enjoy the Midwest, and then keep heading west!
