Looking for a different place in Branson!!
I have stayed at ABC and Cooper Creek.
Is anybody familiar with Silver Dollar City
Campground? I know they are open thru 12/31.

Any other suggestions and why?

I am no familiar with the camp ground as the last time I went I was about 7 or 8 but I can tell you Silver Dollar City is a place everyone must visit at least once. Make sure you ride the train and go into the caves. I don't remember much but these two things have stuck in my head and I can't wait to be able to go back.

Mr. Bojangles,

We stayed at Branson Stagecoach RV park and it was a nice place. Sites were large. The owners were very pleasant and helpful. It is near the dam by Tablerock lake. Also near where the Branson Belle is moored. It is a Passport America so we paid $15 per night rather than $30 for the week we were there.

Check out the reviews at rvparkreview.com. I find the reviews pretty fair at this site since the reviews are posted by folks that actually stay at the parks.

We sure had fun at Branson. Can't wait to go back in the future.

We were just at Compton Ridge CG from 11/10 to 11/17 and found it to be a nicely run park. They have everything from tent to premium sites. It is just one mile from the Silver Dollar City area. They have an indoor, heated pool, if you like.

Hi mrbojamgles,
If you are looking for a CG close to the "strip" consider the KOA. This has now become my first choice, when visiting Branson. It is about 1/2 mile from the "strip". The staff is great, the CG ammenities are very well maintained. The CG is on a side street so it is quiet.
